General career advice and career profiles are available from the home page of the site and can be accessed without registering.
Once you’re ready to learn more and have a conversation about one or more of the career groups listed above, register on the site. After signing up, you’ll have an option to create a profile where you can enter information about yourself and a photo or ‘avatar,’ so other members of the site can get to know a little bit about you. It’s also where you can join groups or view the career groups you belong to, and check on messages from other members on the site.
After you set up your profile, join one or more GoodProspects career path groups to discuss the unique benefits, challenges and steps to success for career explorers in a certain field. You can message individual career coaches and job seekers privately or contribute to existing discussions going on in the group.
Groups also contain links to related information that you can read at your leisure to learn more about your desired career path, as well as success stories from individuals who’ve successfully obtained a job in the sector.
