ARTISTIC INSPIRATION FOR YOUR NEXT THRIFT DIY

For your next upcycled project, consider tapping into the creations of world-famous artists as your design inspiration.  For this blog, a run-of-the-mill pair of tall bar chairs was transformed into artistic pieces with the help of Piet Mondrian (1872-1944), a Dutch painter known for his abstract style. As we approach Valentine’s Day, here are seven ideas of things to lovingly make for that special someone—even if that special someone is you! My Story: Eulalio Martinez

Eulalio Martinez traveled 1,500 miles to move to Wisconsin, but he did not have a job lined up to sustain him when he arrived. Four Creative Ways to Create A Productive Remote Work/Learning Space

I don’t remember much about elementary school — it feels like a lifetime ago! — but some life advice my fourth-grade teacher gave to the class has stuck with me through the years: Find a spot in your home that is your dedicated work space. Choose anywhere you can focus, but not your bed. When you separate an area to be solely for work — not work and sleep — you’ll be more productive.
