On August 31, USA TODAY highlighted Goodwill Industries International on its front page.
Goodwill is one of 25 nonprofit organizations being saluted by the newspaper this year, as part of its 25th anniversary celebration.
The USA TODAY snapshot illustrates who is helped by Goodwill job training and rehabilitative services. In 2006, Goodwill helped nearly one million people through employment and training programs.
To mark its silver anniversary, USA TODAY will donate $25 to Goodwill for each new subscription it receives. To participate, and help make a difference in the lives of the people Goodwill serves, click here to subscribe to USA TODAY, or call (800) 872-0001. When subscribing, make sure to ask for offer 953.
