This week, Goodwill advocates from around the country will visit Capitol Hill and meet with hundreds of lawmakers to advocate for federal investments in workforce program, protecting charitable giving incentives, and reauthorizing the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program.  You can help bolster the success of their visits and help strengthen Goodwill’s public policy influence.

Take part in the Goodwill on the Hill Virtual Advocacy Day to make your voice heard!  The Goodwill Legislative Action Center allows you to have a voice, and with one click of a button you can contact your Member of Congress.

Justin Hon is one of our advocates. Justin Hon was able to use his self-presentation skills in conjunction with additional job training from Goodwill Industries of Southern Oregon (Medford) to find work after facing challenges related to his criminal history. As a result of his job placement, he is now able to be more involved in the lives of his children.  Now he’ll be telling his story on Capitol Hill.  Please join Justin in supporting Goodwill’s public policy efforts.
