My Story: Pearline Haley

I started with Goodwill Industries of Southwestern Michigan’s Life Guides program in the summer of 2012. Goodwill’s Life Guides program is a 20-year commitment to sustaining families.

I liked what I heard about the program, because it was all about families achieving their goals and improving their parenting skills. Among my several goals was to get my high school diploma.

My life guide encouraged me to go and get my diploma. I started class this past September, and I only had two and a half credits to make up. I completed my course November 5.  I have my diploma and will attend the graduation exercises in May.

The Life Guides program was a big help in achieving my goals.
