ROCKVILLE, MD — Goodwill Industries International was once again named a top charity among the nation’s top 100 charitable organizations in Forbes Magazine’s coveted rankings for 2024.
With more than 1.8 million nonprofit organizations in the U.S., Goodwill® is proud to be recognized among Forbes’ 100 largest charities and ranked in the top 10 for the second year in a row.
The Forbes list highlights America’s largest charities based on private support and donations, and it features categories of healthcare, domestic and international needs, environment, animal welfare, religion, and youth.
“The Goodwill network was recognized as the ninth largest nonprofit in the country. While this recognition highlights the scale of Goodwill’s impact across North America, the real story is that we are 153 remarkable local Goodwill organizations that help one individual at a time advance their own story of transformation and hope,” said Steve Preston, president and CEO, Goodwill Industries International. “Goodwill played a role in 1.7 million of those individual stories last year.”
