With Your #BestJobAdvice, Win a Microsoft Tablet!

What’s the best job advice you’ve ever heard? Have you got your own tagline of wisdom drawn from your personal experience at work? Goodwill® wants to hear it. Post your job advice on Twitter using the hashtag #BestJobAdvice, and you may win a MicroSoft Surface 3 Tablet!

To celebrate the spirit of Labor Day and the launch of its new GoodProspects® website, Goodwill® invites you to explore the site and its many new offerings for jobseekers and career advancers, and then contribute your advice that can help others in their career journeys.

When you visit GoodProspects, you’ll find if offers multiple support services for jobseekers, including access to virtual career mentors, an interactive career readiness checklist with benchmarks for people who are building their work skills, and a digital library of resources spanning 11 industries and 18 skill-building topics. The site also includes a searchable listing of job fairs and workshops hosted at local Goodwill agencies.

To participate in the contest, tweet using text, a link to a video you’ve made or an image with your advice written on a white board. Get creative!  View the contest video to find out more, and if you have more questions, take a look at the contest rules on GoodProspects®.

The contest runs through September 7, and is open to residents of the United States, ages 18 and above. The grand prize winner will receive a Microsoft Surface 3 Tablet. Two second place winners will each receive a FitBit Surge. The winner will be announced no later than September 30.

My best job advice is short and sweet, be yourself. When you’re being yourself, you are able to relax more, be more courteous, and even have fun while you’re at your job of choice….because really, who wants to work a job they can’t be themselves at?
