Tucson-Based Goodwill Partners with Tribal Communities to Support Justice-Involved Individuals

In Tucson, the team at Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona has been operating programs for individuals who have been involved with the justice system since 2012. Since that time, more than 500 individuals reentering the community have received services to address their many and varied needs.

Biden Unveils the American Families Plan

President Biden used his address to a joint session of Congress to outline his vision for the American Families Plan. After signing the American Rescue Plan Act in March, the President unveiled an outline for the American Jobs Plan, a $2.3 trillion jobs and infrastructure proposal, which we outlined last month and would make major investments in the workforce system. The American Families Plan is the final piece of the three-part Build Back Better agenda.

In Wisconsin, Goodwill Works to Advance Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Albertans Assemble Goodwill Kits for Good

Since the pandemic began, volunteer placements at Goodwill Industries of Alberta (Canada) are in a holding pattern or they’ve been outright cancelled. This left many people within the Goodwill's Career Connections division without a place to contribute in the community. The Goodwill’s job development team took this challenge head-on and created “The Goodwill Volunteer Hub.”
