Programs At Risk Under “America First” Budget
The Administration released their skinny budget, known as “America First Budget” in mid-March, which was a rough outline of his spending priorities, and included $54 billion in cuts to over 60 programs. Now, we are hearing more details about the proposed cuts from the Administration in, “A New Foundation for American Greatness” which was released on May 23, 2017.

The daily news cycle in the United States consistently discusses the national unemployment rate. In early May, the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) reported that the unemployment rate nationwide declined to 4.4 percent, the lowest level in almost a decade and a milestone in the long road back from the Great Recession. The rate was 4.9 percent a year ago. So this is all good…right?! The answer is: “It Depends.”
