One of the most effective ways to protect the planet is by donating and repurposing items instead of throwing them away and creating waste. Last year alone, local Goodwill organizations kept nearly 4 billion pounds of items out of landfills through the sale of donated goods and sustainability programs.

Be an Advocate and Participate in Goodwill’s Virtual Advocacy Day!
Since the 2008 inception of the annual Goodwill® on the Hill event, nearly 1,500 Goodwill advocates have conducted more than 2,500 Hill visits. This includes nearly 170 program participants and family members who have benefited from scholarships and told their stories to lawmakers.
