Be an Advocate and Participate in Goodwill’s Virtual Advocacy Day!
Since the 2008 inception of the annual Goodwill® on the Hill event, nearly 1,500 Goodwill advocates have conducted more than 2,500 Hill visits. This includes nearly 170 program participants and family members who have benefited from scholarships and told their stories to lawmakers.

Two years ago, Jonathan Tingley, moved back home. But unlike some “boomeranging” millennials, Jonathan needs constant care because he has disabilities including autism. His mother, Nancy Moore, didn’t want him sitting at home watching TV all day; she has dreams for her son to become more independent. Goodwill Industries of Tulsa Program Highlight: Transition Work Adjustment Training
It was a full day of activities in Goodwill Industries of Tulsa’s Transition Work Adjustment Training classroom. Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder from surrounding public high schools go for half of their school day to prepare for entering the workforce upon graduation.
