Soft Style has been trending this year, making Easter basket pastels an all-season look. Synchronous with preppy, and inspired by vintage brands like Limited Too and Juicy Couture, Soft Style continues to trend for not only Gen Z, but also the younger generations.
Whenever I travel I love going to Goodwill stores in new areas. I’ve found some of my wardrobe staples while on trips. So, when I planned my last trip of the summer to visit my sister in Cincinnati, I knew Goodwill was going to be one of the key things we wrote into the itinerary.
There’s a beautiful, thrifted statement piece starring in photos of most of my recent special moments. My favorite Goodwill finds have helped me better celebrate some of the best days of my life – which makes it all the easier for me to celebrate National Thrift Shop Day on 8/17.
By Felicia Czochanski Bisaro It’s always a surprise when back to school is around the corner again. The summer months seem to go by the quickest – the days full of more of a variety of activities, routine set to the wayside for a couple months. As it reaches the point where you finally put
There are some sub-trends that are true gems, with staying power that can last a while. While some may have gravitated towards the Y2K return of low-rise denim and butterfly patch crop tops, others have dug into the elegance of minimalism, with a slightly nautical flair. Y2K, the futuristic fashion trend from the late 90s and early 2000s is back, and an identifying factor of Gen Z. While it’s rare for millennials to get excited about a style based on low-rise pants and crop tops – after being spoiled for so long with high-waisted denim and leggings, Gen Z has been a champion of the trend that blends pop culture, neon colors, and vintage tech advancements, setting them apart.

In effort to keep myself interested in the well-being of these tiny bits of prickly paradise, I figured I might pay attention more if they were planted in unusual little pots. Not things that you expect a plant to be in, things that I can find around the house already. So here were my top few strange succulent pot picks.
It seems like everyone is getting married this summer. Or if not married, then engaged. For the past six months social media has been crowded with romantic posts of doting boyfriends down on one knee (including mine!), bachelorette squads taking over beaches and bars, and the sweet smiles of the couple’s first look on their special day.
Unless you’ve been under a rock for a year, you’ve probably noticed everything is getting expensive these days. We’re all paying more for food, gas, rent, utilities– inflation is rearing its ugly head again and hitting us where it hurts. The one good thing about these tight times is that it often makes us rethink our priorities.
